What's the point?
Welcome to our site! There is a lot of information for you to learn in both math and science, and the best way for you to learn it is to experience it. From time to time you will see videos and links to other sites that you will need to use to be successful. Our hope is that both class and this website help you gather a greater appreciation for the world and how things work.
We can't learn if we don't question.
Our Class
We are working towards a classroom culture where students come in knowing their strengths and weaknesses and working collaboratively to improve.
Our mission statement, written collaboratively by our 8th grade Pterodactyl team, states:
We are here to create a safe, fun and supportive environment where we can learn with one another and prepare for high school and beyond. We will do this by being determined and focused, listening to one another, asking questions, making mistakes, and being respectful of one another so that we can grow individually and as a team.
